READING SERIES

The Crosstown Reading Series is on a summer hiatus. Please check back again later.

Casual evenings to read a new play and toast the damned talented theatre artists of NOLA!

Local producers got together to pump up the momentum that everyone’s been feeling around live theatre in this town lately.  Why not get together and see what’s stirring things up in new-play-land here in NOLA?  The monthly readings will be of new plays, or plays new to New Orleans, with an emphasis on pieces penned by writers with a local connection.  The CROSSTOWN theaters are currently: All Kinds of Theatre, DEM BOYS LLC, Le Chat Noir, The NOLA Project and Southern Rep. Recently InsideOut Productions joined as a collaborator.

The venue is the ultra-comfy and chic cabaret/theatre venue Le Chat Noir (715 St. Charles).

Never an official disussion, but plan to hang out afterwards for more drinks to exchange ideas and mingle.

No need for reservations
Just arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before start time to ensure seating
