FourFront Theatre presents three regional premieres this season, hosted at Southern Rep through our CITY SERIES. This young local theatre company's mission is to positively contribute to the New Orleans theatre community and cultural economy by producing professional quality theatrical performances and by compensating contributing local artists both creatively and financially.

A six-time 2006 Tony Award winner, The History Boys focuses on an unruly bunch of bright, funny sixth-form (senior) boys in a British boarding school who are seeking university acceptance and social maturity. Playwright Bennett uses his artful command of wit and character to convey the importance of this year in a boy's life as well as to raise questions about present-day education and teaching.
